Not only did the breakout from Stalag Luft III inspire the resistance, it inspired Hollywood to create the 1963 film "The Great Escape", which continues to win awards (eve as recently as 2021).
How far does resistance go to reshape wars? I don't know. But acts of unimaginable courage, bravery and the drive to live seems to stoke undeniable human compassion and support.
The opposition to renewable energy is deeply entrenched in the current administration. This latest act is just further evidence of this ideological position
Amazing as it may seem it’s true. The US administration has been trying to stop a whole raft of Biden era offshore wind farms by cancelling licenses etc but this was rejected by the courts; so the next tactic is to pay developers like TotalEnergies to stop
It’s very hard to reconcile. I certainly can’t. Trump personally believes wind farms are “ugly, inefficient and expensive” and he is in ultimate control of US policy on the topic

In my humble opinion, one of the best films ever made. An incredible cast and an amazing story of courage and determination.
I found the willingness to resist in the face of oppression to be inspiring
What? - $1 billion to France Trump pays to stop wind energy in N.Carolina then demands they invest in ⛽ Texas?

I don't understand. It seems vehemently irrational. $1 billion dollars.

Thank you for sharing this.
Last year, I read a wind project that was 80% complete issued a lawsuit against Trump, for preventing the completion.
- Wow $1 billion dollars of increased national debt? So oil companies in Texas get richer??
